OUR STORY

Abura Soba is a delicious and accessible Japanese dish that we believe can be a game-changer for students at Yale. With dining halls closing early, this flavorful noodle dish offers a perfect solution for those late-night cravings or missed meals. Affordable and satisfying, Abura Soba can serve as a midnight snack or a hearty late lunch. Inspired by a Japanese noodle enthusiast and the Head Chef of Y Pop Up, Yale's premier cooking club, we aim to introduce this tasty dish to our campus and enhance the culinary experience for all students.

Our organization was founded by Jack, a passionate food lover and the head of Y Pop Up, and Yuto, a noodle enthusiast from Japan. Together, we recognized a unique opportunity to cater to the diverse culinary needs of Yale students. With a commitment to providing delicious, authentic meals, we aim to create an inclusive dining experience that celebrates different cultures and flavors. Our goal is to enhance the student community by making quality food accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
